This consultancy project focused on preparing a Social Impact Assessment (SIA) and a Rehabilitation & Resettlement (R&R) Plan for the NH stretch from Medak to Siddipet to Elkathurthy in Telangana. The project aimed to evaluate the social implications of the road development and plan for the rehabilitation and resettlement of affected communities.
Our Approach
The approach included conducting a comprehensive Social Impact Assessment to understand the social effects of the road expansion. This involved analyzing the socio-economic conditions of impacted communities and identifying potential challenges. A detailed Rehabilitation & Resettlement Plan was developed to address the needs of displaced or affected populations.
