This project aimed at the improvement and widening of NH-208, focusing on transforming the road into a two-lane highway with paved shoulders. The objective was to enhance road infrastructure in Tripura, improve connectivity, and facilitate the efficient movement of goods and people. The project included a detailed feasibility study and the preparation of a comprehensive project report outlining the necessary interventions and upgrades.
Our Approach
The approach involved conducting detailed surveys and assessments to evaluate existing road conditions and identify areas for improvement. The project team developed engineering designs that incorporated modern road construction standards and safety measures. Social and environmental impact assessments were conducted to mitigate adverse effects and promote sustainable development. Extensive stakeholder engagement ensured that community needs and concerns were addressed. Road safety audits were performed and safety features such as signage, barriers and pedestrian crossings were integrated into the design.
