This consultancy project involved preparing a Social Impact Assessment (SIA) and a Livelihood Support Plan for the six-laning of a section of NH-2. The focus was on understanding the social implications of the highway expansion and creating strategies to support and improve the livelihoods of affected communities.
Our Approach
The approach included conducting a comprehensive Social Impact Assessment to evaluate the social effects of the highway expansion. This involved analyzing the socio-economic conditions of the communities impacted by the project and identifying potential challenges. A Livelihood Support Plan was developed to address these challenges and enhance local economic conditions.
